OH KYLIE

So I have become a little crazy obsessed with how Kylie Jenner has turned out - she is pure perfection.
Those lips, dem brows. Oh. My. God.
Her fashion sense has grown and matured as well as her looks, and she honestly never gets it wrong. I've always loved the dip dyed hair craze that went around - and when Kylie decided to go blue, honestly, she can do NO WRONG.

I decided to crush my fear of doing it myself, and hair chalked my ends pink. I couldn't think of more fitting time then last weekend for my cousins wedding followed by a night out in the city.

Yep - it actually happened.

So following my hairdressers advice, I attempted the hair chalking on the Friday night - in case it was horrible and then I had Saturday to hopefully wash it out.
I used Fudge hairchalk, flexible hairspray, a towel, brush and hair straightener. I sprayed my dry ends first, then rubbed the chalk in the ends - this is reaaal messy, so definetly put a towel around your shoulders and legs. Once I had done all of my ends, I brushed them, lots of the chalk came out so I then re applied more chalk. Then I went over the ends with my GHD, which is old and really in need of updating so I didn't mind. Lastly I sprayed it again with hairspray.
I didn't like the end result at all - the colour was a dark bright pink, not the pastel pink I wanted. At this point I was heavily regretting this decision.
So I decided to tie my hair in a ponytail and sleep on it.
The result the next morning after rubbing off on my pillow throughout the night was amazing! So happy with the baby pink colour I ended up with.
All I have to say is the chalk makes your hair pretty dirty, and you definetly wouldn't be able to style it much - this was perfect for me because I actually look like I just got out of bed most days.

It lasted the wedding, followed by a very long night out in the city and my recovery Maccas the next day. It washed out after one wash - lucky for work, but shattered because I loved it.
Am now considering doing it again, but using a semi-permanent dye instead, let this baby last a month!

I apologise massively for the poor quality of the below images (I'm no model).
